Participants were approached during their second trimester of pregnancy (26 weeks) from community midwife clinics, family physician clinics, and a reproductive mental health clinic in metropolitan Vancouver in British Columbia, Canada.

Data Collection Event

SRI_Exposure - Cohort A Mothers not taking SRIs - 9 to 14 years

At this time point information about general health, demographics, and family history of mental health were collected.

Psychological testing was done using measures such as the (M.I.N.I 500), Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HAM-A), Hamilton Depression Scale (HAM-D), The State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI), and paternal mood was also measured.

The National Institutes of Health tool kit was used to assess cognition and executive function.
