Participants were approached during their second trimester of pregnancy (26 weeks) from community midwife clinics, family physician clinics, and a reproductive mental health clinic in metropolitan Vancouver in British Columbia, Canada.

SRI_Exposure - Cohort A Mothers not taking SRIs - 2nd trimester

At this time point, information about general health and demographics was collected.

Psychological testing was done using measures such as the Mini-International Neuropsychiatric Interview (M.I.N.I 500), Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HAM-A), Hamilton Depression Scale (HAM-D), The Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS), and The symptom questionnaire (SQ).

A blood sample was collected.
