Information Content

The shAIRe Adolescents Prospective Harmonization Protocol was developed to support the prospective collection and harmonization of data from Canadian respiratory health studies targeting adolescents aged 12 to 17 years.

The shAIRe Adolescents Prospective DataSchema covers information on:

Participants' socio-demographic and economic characteristics
Participants' lifestyle and behaviours, including tobacco, e-cigarette and cannabis use
Participants' physical environment, including exposure to tobacco smoke, e-cigarette aerosol, chemical and biological exposures
Participants' respiratory symptoms and personal history of respiratory diseases and comorbidities
Participants' physical measures and assessments, including height, weight and spirometry
