The population is composed of healthcare workers who will receive a COVID-19 vaccine and have not previously been infected with COVID-19 (no history of a positive PCR and negative serology at recruitment) before their vaccination. Participants receive their vaccinations around the same times as the phase 2 COVID-19 subgroup.

Information is collected about adverse events following immunization, underlying medical conditions and known risk factors (hypertension, diabetes, chronic pulmonary conditions, pregnancy, etc.), new flu-like illnesses (including the symptomatology), medications prescribed in the last 6 months, hospitalizations and treaments, history of vaccinations, and vitamin intake.
