The partners population in the FAMILY study is composed of Canadian living in the Hamilton region, in Ontario. They were recruited during their pregnant partners third trimester of pregnancy (gestational age of 21-39 weeks).

Data collection occurred at study visits through questionnaires.

Information about demographics, family health history, ethnicity, socioeconomic status (family size, education, household income), and the lifestyle practices (nutrition, physical activity and related behaviours, smoking history) were collected by questionnaire.
