The population is composed of individuals who are 65 years and older, residing in long-term care facilities and who have been tested for COVID-19.

Psychosocial interviews were conducted to collect in-depth perspective and lived experience (i.e. challenges and needs) during the COVID-19 pandemic. Quantitative psychosocial evaluations were performed using questionnaires like caregiver context and relationships, the Clinical Frailty Scale, the Neuropsychiatric Inventory, the Social Interaction QOL, Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), the Geriatric Depression Scale - Short Form, the Geriatric Anxiety Scale - Short Form, the UCLA Loneliness Scale, Self-rated mental/physical health, the Generalized Anxiety Disorder Scale (GAD-7), MATS. Information was also collected from optional qualitative psychosocial evaluations through in-depth interviews. Cognitive functioning was measured using Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA-BLIND) and Cognitive Decline in the Elderly questionnaire (for unfit participant only). A COVID test was performed. Blood samples were collected for plasma, DNA, RNA and cells studies analysis in the future. Clinical data (sociodemographic factors, medical history, symptoms related to COVID, medication) and imaging data (endoscopy, x-rays, MRI) were collected from medical charts and the "Dossier de santé Québec " (DSQ).
