Collected Dataset / DENTALCARE_COVID_Baseline

The population is composed of dentists who are licensed to practice general or specialty dentistry in Canada, are SARS-CoV-2 negative and have no history of COVID-19.

Information about socio-demographics and comorbidities; details of dental care provided to patients in the previous week (e.g., number of aerosol-generating procedures performed, N95 use, ventilation in clinics); and symptoms and infection status (e.g., Fever greater or equal to 38 C, respiratory and other symptoms related to COVID-19, whether the participant has tested positive for SARS-CoV-2) was collected. A saliva sample was self-collected from a subsample of participants. Practice guidelines set forth by dental regulatory authorities (DRAs) were documented from their websites.
