The population is composed of 18 to 75 years old health care workers from acute care, rehabilitation, and complex care hospitals in Canada.

Other Criteria

Inclusion:
Occupation full- or part-time (>20 hours per week for health care workers, ≥ 8 hours per week for physician, nurse practitioner or midwife);
Have convenient access to and basic skills for use of computer or cell phone with internet capability;
Able to read and write English or French and available for follow-up during the study period.

Exclusion: HCWs are not eligible if they plan to take leave from work for more than two consecutive weeks within the first 3 months of enrolment (e.g., vacation, maternity or medical leave, retirement).

a) sending email “blasts” to hospital employees,
b) providing short videoconference or phone presentations for team meetings/huddles,
c) posting electronic advertisements on internal hospital communications,
d) displaying physical posters in staff work areas,
e) advertising on social media platforms (e.g., Twitter or Facebook), and
f) distributing pamphlets to targeted internal mailboxes.

Data Collection Event

CCCS - COVID-19 Vaccination

Information about vaccine manufacturer, vaccine lot number, and date of vaccination was collected every time participants are vaccinated. Blood samples were self-collected at day of first vaccination, on date of second vaccination (if two doses required), and 28 days (+/-7) after final dose of vaccine.
