APrON - Mothers - Second trimester
A questionnaire was used to assess pregnancy information, physical activity within 12 months preceding pregnancy, current physical activity, current mental health, current medical conditions, social support, life events, medication use, recreational drug and alcohol use, smoking behaviour, a food frequency questionnaire, dietary change since becoming pregnant, sociodemographic information, and family history.
The prenatal in-person visit assessments consisted of anthropometric measurements (weight and skinfold measures), a 24 hour food recall for the day prior to the visit and a 3 hour food recall for the 3 hours prior to the appointment, a supplement intake questionnaire, and blood and urine samples collection.
