The population consists of partners; whether it is the biological fathers or those who take on the role of a parent of the children enrolled in the study.

Information was collected about health, life in the last 4 weeks, partner, medications, breaking the law, family and friends, diet and environment from the About Me Questionnaire. In addition, information was collected about general physical health, diet and nutrition, social characteristics, partner information, and substance use. Information abut current health and symptoms medications, hospital admissions, and physical activity was also collected. Anthropometry measures were collected in a self-reported manner. Information such as exposure to smoke, smoking and alcohol intake habits was collected, as well as other information such as travel to work, and crime. Social information such as education, marital status, and social support, was collected, as well as information about relationship with partner, partner’s heath, aggression and affection levels, smoking habits, education, employment and feelings towards child.
