The population consists of partners; whether it is the biological fathers or those who take on the role of a parent of the children enrolled in the study.

Information was collected about health problems you may have, as well as some features of your lifestyle from the Lifestyle and Health of Partner Questionnaire. In addition, information was collected about general physical health, mental health, diet and nutrition, social characteristics, partner information, environmental characteristics, and substance use. Information about current health and symptoms, allergies, bladder problems, chest pains, dizziness and balance, sleep, contraception, accident and injuries, hospital admissions and physical activity was collected as well as travel to work and tv viewing information was also collected. Social information such as occupation, household income and expenditures, and financial difficulties, smoking habits and exposure to smoke was collected, as well as information about partner’s smoking habits.

Amongst mental and cognitive issues, information about depression, anxiety, and life events was collected.
