ALSPAC - Children
The population consists of any resulting child from all pregnant women residents in the old administrative county of Avon if their estimated delivery date fell between 1 April 1991 and 31 December 1992.
Data Collection Event
ALSPAC - Children - Teen in focus 12 years
At the focus clinic, literacy/numeracy, motor skills, psychological and social information were assessed.
Antisocial activities, depression, parent-child interaction, psychosis, romantic relations, friends and peers and friendships were assessed.
Phonological awareness (spoonerisms), and the ability to pronounce printed words and phonemically regular nonwords (TOWRE) were assessed.
Anthropometry measures, motor skills, vision, scoliosis, waist circumference, weight, acne, a DXA whole body scan, blood pressure, hearing, vision were measured.
A blood, saliva and urine sample were collected.
