The population consists of any resulting child from all pregnant women residents in the old administrative county of Avon if their estimated delivery date fell between 1 April 1991 and 31 December 1992.

Information was collected about being a parent, and obtains details of any children born; about strengths and difficulties; about anxiety; information on healthcare and accidents; behaviour, moods and feelings which looked into thoughts of sadness, depression and self-harm; tanning and sun exposure, enquires about personality and ask how a respondent see themselves;employment; how participants may be affected by Life Events; eating behaviour, food preferences and finally, information on completion date, and date of birth information. In addition, information was collected from partner/friend about the behaviour and personality of participants.
