The population is composed of the children of mothers recruited for the 3D study.

Permanent student code is requested, and schooling, personality traits, relationships with parents and peers, health and lifestyle habits, and support from non-parental adults are assessed through questionnaires. Information on pubertal development, sleep habits, sensitivity to sensory and environmental changes, and gender-related behaviors and attitudes is also collected. Weight, height, waist and hip circumference, body fat percentage, foot length, head circumference, and blood pressure are measured. A hair sample is collected for hormonal analyses. Home environment is assessed using the HOME observational inventory.
