The population is composed of the children of mothers recruited for the 3D study.

Support of non-parental adults, gender-related attitudes and behaviors, language exposure and use, schooling, behaviors, health and life habits, personality, relationships with parents, screen and media use, thoughts and feelings, and parental stress and social resources are assessed. Information is collected on pacemaker usage, general health status, sleep habits, physical activity, eating habits, and hair-related factors. Additional data on pubertal development are also collected. Cognitive functioning is assessed with standardized tasks measuring inhibitory control, reward sensitivity, working memory, decision-making under uncertainty, and cognitive flexibility, including the Go/no-go passive avoidance learning paradigm, Iowa Gambling Task, Self-Ordered Pointing task, Effort-Expenditure for Reward Task, Kirby delay discounting task, Newman Card Playing Task, and Spatial Conditional Association Task. Weight, height, waist circumference, hip circumference, head circumference, body fat percentage, foot size, and blood pressure are measured. A hair sample is collected for hormonal analyses. HOME Inventory (Home Observation for Measurement of the Environment) is used to evaluate the quality and quantity of stimulation and support available in home environment through direct observation and caregiver interviews.
