The primary objectives of this study are:
* To determine the prevalence of patient-reported swallowing difficulties in Canadians living with chronic respiratory diseases.
* To explore the association between dysphagia, the frequency of disease exacerbations, and respiratory health outcomes in Canadians living with chronic respiratory diseases.
The secondary objective is:
* To collect information about swallowing difficulties and dysphagia in chronic respiratory disease. The information collected through this study will guide the development of dissemination strategies, including advocacy, education and policy efforts.

Data Collection Event
An online questionnaire is adminstrired to collect demographic information, as well as patient-reported measures of swallowing and reflux. Risk of oropharyngeal dysphagia is assessed using the Sydney Swallow Questionnaire (SSQ). Symptoms of laryngopharyngeal reflux are measured using the Reflux Symptom Index (RSI) and swallowing difficulties related to pill intake is evaluated using the PILL-5. Health status and disease impact are assessed using the Chronic Airways Assessment Test (CAAT).
