ULSAM population
Between 1970 and 1973, all men born from 1920 to 1924 and living in the municipality of Uppsala, Sweden, were invited to take part in a health survey.
Data Collection Event
ULSAM-70
All participants in the first investigation were invited to the third investigation. Procedures were carried out in a manner as similar as possible to the two previous surveys, including a medical questionnaire, blood pressure and anthropometric measurements, blood samples, peroral glucose tolerance test, hyperinsulinaemic euglycaemic clamp and 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure registration.
