Collected Dataset / TargetKids!_8_years

The population is composed of children, under six years of age at the time of recruitment, and attending scheduled health maintenance visit with their primary care physician.

Information is collected from many questionnaires, including the Nutrition and Health Questionnaire (child's food and fluid intake, physical growth, physical activity, sedentary behavior, and factors influencing food intake), the Child Behaviour Questionnaire (temperament, activity, and parenting, surgency/extraversion, negative affectivity and effortful control), the Parenting Stress Index (parental distress, difficult child characteristics and dysfunctional parent-child interaction) and the Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire (emotional problems, conduct problems, inattention-hyperactivity, peer problems and prosocial behaviors).

At each visit, children and their accompanying parent have height, weight, and waist circumference measured. Blood pressure is also measured.

A blood sample is taken.
