Participants were recruited online and are asked to fill in an inquiry form online or to contact the study by email.

Supplementary Information about selection criteria: The final number is TBC - aiming for 2,500 in their first round and then up to 16,000, but that depends on the results from the first and subsequent batches and depends on seroprevalence estimates.

Data Collection Event

SPRING - Sample

Participants do not go to any study centre. All materials are sent to them by mail. An at-home self-administered finger/heel-prick blood sample is collected by a kit that is sent by mail. The blood sample is tested for the presence and amount of antibodies against the SARS-CoV2 virus. The kit includes lancets that are used to do a finger prick, and a 5-spot specimen card to collect a few drops of blood onto.
