SHIP - TREND cohort

A representative sample of men and women aged 20 - 79 years was drawn from the central population registry using a stratified random sampling scheme with age, sex and county as strata. The SHIP-TREND population largely overlaps with the SHIP-START-0 population, but the samples do not overlap.

Data Collection Event

SHIP - TREND cohort - COVID Survey

Information was collected about COVID-19 infections (infection status, symptoms), COVID-19 vaccinations, self-assessment of COVID-19 risk, agreement with pandemic measures, and expectations regarding the further course and effects of the pandemic. Information was also collected about depressive symptoms, quality of life, lifestyle changes, social and workplace environment, family, and attitudes toward ageing.
