Participants are included in the registry by the treating rheumatologist. The inclusion of the rheumatologist and the patients in the study is voluntary.

Data Collection Event

SCQM - GCA - Baseline

Information about demographics, disease characteristics, concomitant treatments, comorbidities and adverses events was collected. Self-administered questionnaires such as Health Assessment Questionnaire, Dermatology Life Quality Index, 12-Item Short Form Survey and health-related quality of life measurement instruments (European Quality of Life-5 dimensions - EuroQoL) were completed. Biosample(s) timing is left at the discretion of the treating physician. As a first aim of the biobank, at least one sample for each patient should be collected.
