LifeGene - Adults
Index participants recruited to the study are Swedish men and women, aged 18 to 50 years at the time of recruitment. These participants in turn may invite family members. Adults of any age may volunteer. Hence the age range is 0-95.
Data Collection Event
LifeGene - Adults - Baseline
During the baseline investigation, information is collected from two primary sources: internet-based questionnaires and in person testing (IPT).
The questionnaire provides information about several lifestyle factors and health status such as sociodemographic information, lifestyle, self-care, woman's health, living habits, health history, injuries, asthma and allergies, and mental health.
During the in person testing, physical measurements (height, weight, blood pressure, heart rate, waist, hip and thorax circumferences, bioimpedance, hearing and respiratory function) were taken and blood and urine were collected.
