HUNT 1-2 Cohort
The population is composed of men and women who participated in the HUNT1 and HUNT2 surveys.
Data Collection Event
HUNT1
Information was collected through questionnaires (four) about self-reported health, quality of life, illness, diseases (CVD, diabetes), major behavioural risk factors and socio-economic position. Disease-specific questionnaires for hypertension, diabetes and quality of life were also completed.
Weight, height, blood pressure and heart rate were measured. A chest-X-ray was taken.
Capillary non-fasting blood glucose and venous blood samples were taken in persons 40 years and older and reporting known diabetes.
