Data Collection Event

HAPIEE - Lithuania - Mortality and cardiovascular events follow-up

To determine mortality, the Kaunas regional mortality register is used.

In order to identify, confirm and validate incident non-fatal cardiovascular events, the same questionnaire is sent out every three years to identify the non-fatal cardiovascular events, which will be confirmed using discharge reports and hospital/medical records.
