Collected Dataset / EINSTEIN_Mothers_Preconception_Intervention_Delivery

The population is composed of nonpregnant married women ages 18 to 45, who have no children or one child, who are planning to get pregnant within the next two years, and are allocated to the preconception intervention group. Starting from recruitment, women receive daily micronutrient supplement tablets and lifestyle behaviour and cognitive–behavioural interventions in the form of group sessions.

Delivery details and any delivery complications such as ICU admissions, birth trauma, infections, and pre-eclampsia are collected. Information is also collected about adverse events (homicidal behaviours, death, diseases) and COVID-19 (symptoms, diagnosis, employment status). Weight is measured. Blood samples are collected. Stool or rectal swabs are collected from a subset of the population.
