EINSTEIN - Mothers - Preconception Intervention
The population is composed of nonpregnant married women ages 18 to 45, who have no children or one child, who are planning to get pregnant within the next two years, and are allocated to the preconception intervention group. Starting from recruitment, women receive daily micronutrient supplement tablets and lifestyle behaviour and cognitive–behavioural interventions in the form of group sessions.
Data Collection Event
EINSTEIN - Mothers Preconception Intervention - 3 months postpartum
Information is collected about medical, treatment, and drug history, adverse events (homicidal behaviours, death, diseases), COVID-19 (symptoms, diagnosis, employment status), smoking and alcohol history, diet, food security, physical activity (Global Physical Activity Questionnaire), sleep (Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index), stress (Perceived Stress Scale), anxiety (General Anxiety Disorder-7), parenting stress, sociodemographic characteristics, and socioeconomic status.
Weight, body composition, and blood pressure measurements are collected.
