COURAGE-Spain-Baseline
Information was collected with a face-to-face structured interview carried out at respondents' homes, via computer-assisted personal interviewing.
The information collected during the interview included socio-demographic characteristics, work history and benefits, health state descriptions, risk factors and preventive health behaviours, chronic conditions and health services coverage, health care utilization. Also, social cohesion social network questionnaire (csn), subjective well-being and quality of life (cqol), built environment data and a self-reported questionnaire (cbe-sr), among others related to the household and interviewer assessment.
Cognitive functions such as recall, short term memory, verbal functioning, cognitive impairment were also assessed.
Anthropometric data such as weight, height, waist circumference was also collected. Blood pressure tests, timed walks tests, vision tests and grip strength tests were carried out as well.
