Data Collection Event

CogUSA - Wave 1

Data from the Wave 1 telephone survey included basic demographics, self-rated health status (health and depressive symptoms) and cognitive measures. The cognitive measures included the HRS episodic memory and mental status questionnaire, numeracy, and a few brief measures designed to assess fluid reasoning, including a telephone adaptive version of the Woodcock-Johnson III number series test, and WJ-III retrieval fluency.
