Collected Dataset / CDS_Students_Baseline

The population is composed of dental and dental hygiene students that have returned to on-site activities at 10 dental schools across Canada. In addition, the population in the nested case study is also COVID-19 positive and vaccinated.

Information on sociodemographic, socioeconomic and health status plus questions specific to the roles subjects have as students including tasks engaged in, full or part-time employment status, treatments dispensed and protective equipment and protocols used was collected. Information about COVID-19 infection rates in the local communities where the schools are located was collected. Saliva samples were collected for the detection of SRAS-CoV-2 RNA. Data concerning training/working site (clinic, laboratory, office settings), infection control protocols and records of numbers of COVID-19 cases (anonymized, collective data only) was obtained from each school.
