People under the age of 25 will be selected from administrative files at Statistics Canada. If the selected respondent is under the age of 15, their guardian will be the contact.

Data Collection Event

CCAHS - Children - Survey

In the first part, information was collected from an electronic questionnaire about sociodemographic characteristics, general health(chronic conditions, health behavior and health assessment) and exposure to COVID-19(symptoms, health status, risk of contraction and risk factors). In the second part, a blood sample was collected through an at-home finger-prick blood test to determine the presence of COVID-19 antibodies.
