ABC - Mothers - 1 year visit
During the face to face visit, demographics were collected, including age, health card number, address and family doctor information. Dietary information was collected through the use of the Interheart Diet Questionnaire. Information was also collected on maternal health.
Socioeconomic status was assessed by recording annual household income, employment, and marital status. Information was gathered about chronic stressors in the home, workplace and community and stressful life events. Adequacy of social support to the mother was measured. Depression in the mother and intimate partner violence were assessed.
Height, weight, waist circumference, skinfold thickness and blood pressure were measured as well.
Blood and urine samples were also collected.
